PROPERTIES

CERREX FBN adheres to textile warps in a thin, non-stick, smooth and homogenous layer. The liquid imparts good fluidity, eliminating hairs from the yarn and protecting it from stress during the weaving process. Never place plastic covers on the waxed beams as the covers would create an ideal micro-climate for the proliferation of bacteria and mould. Worsted wool and open-end fibres of pure wool or blends with synthetics are the most suited to waxing with CERREX FBN. This wax is also perfectly suitable for fine linen and vegetable fibres.

USE

CERREX FBN is used without need for any pre-diluting and is distributed homogenously on the warps with suitable waxing machine. Doses depend upon the article and can be between 3 and 10% by fibre weight. The product can be removed from the textiles by simply washing with cold or luke-warm water, without any enzymatic tratment desizers or similar. Its particular chemical nature means it can be incompatible with other waxers or glues on the market, especially the REXORD line. Always wash the tub and pump thoroughly before use.
